Infinix has announced that it will soon launch the Hot 50 5G in India, claiming it to be the slimmest and most dependable 5G smartphone in India.
Infinix has officially announced the upcoming launch of its new 5G smartphone, the Infinix Hot 50, in India. Set to debut on September 5, this model is crafted to be both the slimmest and most reliable phone available. The company’s teaser reveals that the Hot 50 5G will come in striking blue and green color choices.
The Infinix Hot 50 has an elegant 7.8 mm thick design, with a central punch-hole cutout for the front camera and slim bezels. Its 3D curved edges enhance its premium look, while the rear features a prominent oval-shaped module in the top left corner. This module includes three camera sensors arranged in square boxes, with the LED flash positioned separately and marked with an f/1.8 aperture.

The Infinix Hot 50 5G has recently been spotted on both the Google Play Console and TÜV Rheinland platforms. These listings reveal that the phone will come with an HD+ display boasting a resolution of 1600×720 pixels. It is expected to offer 4GB of RAM and will run on Android 14 right from the start.
The listing initially suggested that the Infinix Hot 50 would be powered by the MediaTek MT6835V chipset, related to the Dimensity 6100+ SoC. However, recent reports from Gadgets360 indicate that the phone might feature the Dimensity 6300 chipset.
The phone will also come with an option for 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. According to the TÜV Rheinland listing, it will be fitted with a 4,900mAh battery, though it will be marketed as having a 5,000mAh battery.
Infinix asserts that the Hot 50 will sustain its performance for up to five years, retaining 80% of its original capabilities after 60 months. Additionally, the smartphone boasts an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance and features support for wet-touch usage.
